Mirror Lake Jump

At midnight on the Thursday night before "the game" it is tradition for students to gather at Mirror Lake on campus and jump in. That's right, late November, at night with the average temperature of freezing, usually with as few clothes as possible, and more often than not with a good deal of alcohol in the blood stream, the buckeye faithful/crazed jump into the freezing water. Next year that night will fall on Thanksgiving due to a change in the Big Ten schedule. I bet there will still be students who drive back just to jump.
