VW Bus, Oh how I miss you.

I'm feeling my age this week and it's making me a little nostalgic. I wouldn't want to go back in time or anything. I am however looking at The Samba more often and wondering how irresponsible it would be to buy a VW bus right now. When Dave and I were first married our first joint purchase was a dark blue 1977 bus. We loved her very much and were really sad the day the repairs became beyond our own capabilities and beyond our financial reach since we still had to pay tuition, rent and buy groceries. I still miss driving her around town. Even now, when I hear Peter Tosh singing Downpressor Man or Equal Rights, I'm right back in the bus.
